Datasource configuration

A data source will allow you to fetch data from an external source of data (typically a database or a remote web/Cloud service) and populate Connected fields options with this data.

You have to configure which data source type you want to retrieve data from.

We support 2 types of data sources:

• REST APIs (with multiple authentication modes)
• Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle)

Cache system

By default, the cache duration is set to 5 minutes (300 seconds) at the datasource level.
Unless overridden at the field level, this duration applies to all fields dependent on this datasource.

Limitation

It is possible to create up to 20 data sources, but if you need to create more, please contact us and tell us why.
