Preconfigured application link datasources

Definition

Any Atlassian product linked to the current Jira instance with an application link will be automatically available as an Elements Connect datasource.

Quoting Atlassian's documentation:

Application Links (sometimes called "app links") is a bundled app that allows you to set up links, share information, and provide access to certain resources or functionality across multiple Atlassian products.

A non-exhaustive list of Atlassian products that can be linked to a Jira instance:

  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • Bitbucket
  • Bamboo
  • Crowd
  • Crucible
  • Fisheye
  • ...

Applications links are available on any hosting type: Server, Datacenter and Cloud.

Each product has its own REST API, most of them are documented by Atlassian:



Datasource configuration

This datasource type does not require any configuration. Any Atlassian application app-linked to Jira will automatically be available as an Elements Connect datasource.
