Configure dependent select lists

Use case description

The purpose of this documentation is to show how to build dependent select lists. Each of the select lists are intended to display a list of values that depend on the value that have been selected in the parent field. This will show the basic parameters to set. Of course, everything in this page can be used as a base configuration and be adapted to fit your personal needs.

In our example, the objective is to configure a list in which the user selects a continent. Then a second select list will be configured, based on the value that have been selected in the previous field, a list of countries will be suggested. Finally, a third select list will display a list of cities depending on what have been selected in the country list.

The configuration will vary from data source types. Please choose the one you are working with:
