Author tab
This tab allows you to set up a Synchronisation Author for your current synchronisation.
A Synchronisation Author is a Jira user that can be used by Elements Copy & Sync as the author of all changes made by the synchronisation, from the fields updates to the comments published.
Example
Let's say the "Summary" field of issues A and B are synchronised, and that Ivan has been chosen as the Synchronisation Author. If Rachel updates the "Summary" field of issue A, then the "Summary" field of issue B will be automatically updated by Copy & Sync.
In the Activity logs of issue A, Rachel will be listed as the author of the summary update.
In the Activity logs of issue B, Ivan will be listed as the author of the summary update performed by Copy & Sync.
Enabling the "Use sync author" option will allow you to select this user in the "Sync on behalf of" select box.
If the "JSM users only" checkbox is selected, then only users with an active JSM license will be listed in the "Sync on behalf of" select box. Otherwise, all active Jira users can be chosen as the Synchronisation Author.
Once a user has been select, a user summary is displayed in this tab, which lists all the relevant user information that will help you make your choice.
