Context

With Elements Publish to Confluence, any Jira user can create a Confluence page from a Jira issue in a single click by using a recipe.

Tutorial

In this example, we will create a Confluence page from an issue with the key SUP-1.

This guide explains how a Jira user can use a recipe called "Add to Knowledge Base" to publish a Confluence page directly from SUP-1.

Prerequisites

A recipe called "Add to Knowledge Base" has been created, activated, and is available on issue SUP-1.

This recipe is configured to create pages in a specific Confluence space, with a specific parent page.

Steps

1 - As a Jira Cloud user, open issue SUP-1.

2 - Click on the "..." button at the top right of the issue.

3 - In the action menu, select the Publish to Confluence option.

4 - In the "Select a recipe" window, click on the Add to Knowledge Base recipe and click on the Next button.

5 - In the "Page creation target" window, you can see where the page will be created in Confluence. You can also change the Page title of the new page. Click on the Submit button to publish the page.

6 - Please wait for the confirmation message before closing the waiting dialog, otherwise your page will not be created.

Result

A page has been created in Confluence from the Jira issue in the location specified in the recipe configuration.
