Scenario
Some customers may find that some pages containing Spreadsheet macros become unresponsive, hanging with an out of memory error. In some cases, customers may fail to edit Spreadsheet macros on such pages, which throw a 409 conflict in the browser’s console.

from Confluence version 7.13.0 and later

on pages where a Spreadsheet macro and a code block coexist

Troubleshooting
Remove the code block macro from the unresponsive pages.
