The different views

Definition

Regarding the field category (Live or Snapshot), you might have the option to set a different field configuration on different views:

• Edit view
• Display views
• Search view

Live fields

Live fields call the datasource when they are edited, displayed or searched, on display you'll always see an up to date value

Snapshot fields

Snapshot fields get data from the datasource when it is edited.
When a snapshot field is displayed or searched, Elements Connect uses the value stored in the Jira database during the previous edit.

Only the "Edit view" can be configured on this fields.
