Migration troubleshooting
After running the JCMA migration, no Connect value has been migrated
Go to Elements Connect Data Center > “Migration to Cloud” tab 👉 No project is selected
Only Elements Connect values from selected projects will be migrated.
Go to Jira Cloud Marketplace apps 👉 Elements Connect Helper app is not installed?
Elements Connect Helper app is a free app that complete Elements Connect (for more details about the Helper app, please refer to this tutorial).
Go to Elements Connect Cloud > “Migration” tab 👉 Your custom fields are not listed under “Migrated custom fields”?
This can happen if Jira projects have been migrated without Elements Connect app.
To fix it, you must re-run a Jira project migration with projects containing all your Elements Connect fields. Do not forget to add Elements Connect to this migration.
Workaround: if you can’t re-run an already migrated project, you can create a “dummy” project on Data Center containing all Elements Connect custom fields, and create a work item with a value for each of these Connect fields. Then run a migration with only this dummy project and Elements Connect app.
Go to Elements Connect Cloud > Migration tab 👉 You have migrations in error under “Migration status overview”?
Have a look at error information displayed under your project migration progress bar.

My Elements Connect values migration contained errors, I don’t know if I can safely re-run an app migration
In case of errors and after having fixed them, you can re-run an app migration on a reduced scope.
👉 You can select only projects in error in “Migration to Cloud” tab in Elements Connect Data Center.
👉 If all your Elements Connect fields are present in Elements Connect Cloud under “Migrated custom field”, you can run a JCMA migration containing only Elements Connect app.
You can re-run an Elements Connect values migration even if some values have already migrated: it will not create duplicates.
I don’t find my archived project in “Migration to Cloud” tab in Elements Connect Data Center
Elements Connect JCMA Migration tool currently does not support values from archived project migration.
