[Remote operation] Attachments larger than 10MB not transferred

Symptoms

During a remote operation, one or more large attachments are not copied to the target instance, even though they are present on the source issue.

Cause

By default, Jira limits the size of file attachments to 10MB. If this limit is exceeded on the target instance, the remote operation will fail to transfer the affected files.

Resolution

To allow remote operation of attachments larger than 10MB, you need to increase the maximum allowed attachment size in the Jira configuration.

This update must be applied to both the source and the target environments.

Elements Copy & Sync currently supports attachments up to a maximum of 200MB. Any file above this limit will not be synchronized, even if Jira is configured to allow larger files.
